Religious Education Director Job Opening @ OLGC

After many years of faithful service, Joyce Galvin is going to retire at the end of the school year. Thus, we are looking for a new DRE in Holstein. The job description follows: 10-15 hours/week (weekly evening and some weekends), supervise the parish Religious Ed Program and personnel. Candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and be committed to the authentic teaching of the Catholic Faith.

Job duties include: prepare and schedule Sacramental programs and worship services for the students and parents; collaborate with the pastor and Immaculate Conception staff to prepare a yearly calendar; recruit and support catechists; order books and resources for the program; oversee the registration process; evaluate the program to determine strengths, areas of improvement and future needs; and communicate with the pastor, parents and catechists and students. The position will begin July 1, 2023.
